PATA Fellows Complete Boot Camp
Congratulations to the inaugural group of PATA fellows for completing their 2-week Paediatric Fellowship boot camp in Zambia, Lusaka. The boot camp took place between 7 – 18 Nov 2022 and consisted of fellows from 4 African nations including Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and Zambia

The Ugandan beneficiaries of the fellowship include Dr Sharon Mpumwire, Dr Moris Baluku, Dr Rachel Alum Aguma.
The aim of the boot camp was to start the participants on their fellowship journey with key training that included workshops like BLS/PALS, POCUS, Difficult Airway Management, and MEPA.
Dr Rachel, a beneficiary of the fellowship hailed the boot camp as a rich learning experience giving her both technical and non-technical expertise. She also thanked the faculty for their patience “The faculty has been so patient and kind throughout. I am forever indebted to you.
