This is part of our ongoing Gradian Critical Care Ventilator training.
The machines were purchased by the Ministry of Health- Uganda and through the Joint Medical Store. 109 machines will be installed in 17 hospitals around Uganda including regional referral hospitals.
People with severe Coronavirus-19 disease have impaired breathing thus for the need to support their lungs. This will help them take in enough oxygen and remove carbon dioxide.
