In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the AAU & ICSU Executive & Organizing committees have decided to reschedule their 6th annual congress. This decision was made after careful consideration of the health and wellbeing of all congress participants.
This event was due to be held in Jinja Town, Source of the Nile Hotel, from October 21st – 23rd 2020 and will be therefore rescheduled to 2021 in the same location.
Most of our arrangements will remain the same with only the dates changing. The program developed for this event will be updated to reflect the new challenges faced by our specialties.
Arrangements such as delegate’s registration fees, Sponsorship packages and abstract submission will also be automatically transferred.
However, as part of our objectives to bring together anesthesiologists and intensivists working around the country for quality services and better working conditions for those practicing within the territorial jurisdiction of Uganda through continuous medical educations, AAU will endeavor to facilitate access to online education activities and encourage continued engagement with all partners in the anesthetic & critical care service delivery.
We apologize for any inconveniences caused by these unforeseeable circumstances.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing all of you in 2021 in Jinja.
Sincerely,
Dr. Andrew Kintu
AAU President
